Rachel & Tom
Rachel and Tom's wedding ceremony took place over-looking the breathtaking Cornish countryside at Lanhydrock Church, 15 months after their original date due to the pandemic but the wait was worth it. They had the best time celebrating in style with loved ones. This gorgeous day was captured by Grant Lampard Photography and showcases their rustic aesthetic of wood, greens, whites and loads of candles.

After a 15 month delay, lovely #ERBride Rachel and her husband Tom finally tied the knot in July last year surrounded by loved ones, laughter and spectacular views.
Meet Real Bride – Rachel
Wedding Date: 28th July 2021
How did you meet?
My husband and I originally met in school when Tom came to find me to give me my Dads’ phone as he had left it in his cricket bag from cricket at the weekend as Dad used to teach Tom when he was younger. Then once we left school we came together in the same friendship group.
The Proposal – How did it happen?
Tom proposed to me at Christmas when we were putting up decorations. He attached a note to one of the baubles and I had to follow clues around the house until the last one told me to turn around and he was down on one knee popping the question with our dog by his side! It was very romantic!
Which wedding venue did you choose and why?
Our ceremony took place at St. Hydrocs at Lanhydrock Church and then we had our reception at the beautiful Pengenna Manor. We choose this venue because we loved the beautiful barn lit up with fairy lights and Pengenna House was perfect for us and our family to stay. The grounds are also stunning and we just fell in love the first time we saw it! Richard the owner was fantastic!
What was your favourite moment of your wedding day?
We had so many favourite moments it’s so hard to choose! I think it will have to be after saying our vows with all our friends and family around us – after a long 15 months wait! Roger was also an amazing vicar and set the day off with the best tone and it only got better from there!
